Sustainability Service

Supply chain sustainability emerged as a significant issue in the early 2000s, and since then, awareness around these concerns has grown substantially. This movement reached a milestone in 2024 with the European Union’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) becoming law, which not only applies to European companies but also affects global supply chains doing business with Europe.

To support companies in navigating these regulations, Scandic Sourcing has developed the Supplier Code of Conduct Audit Program. This program is designed for organizations that have established supplier code of conduct policies and want to ensure their supplier base aligns with these standards. The program provides a robust mechanism for assessing compliance with sustainability and ethical criteria across supply chains.

In 2008, Scandic Sourcing pioneered the concept of stakeholder engagement and materiality analysis, both of which have now been integrated into the EU’s CSRD and the EU Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). Our approach emphasizes that only by conducting on-site audits focused on material sustainability criteria can reliable and measurable data be gathered. This philosophy is also reflected in the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), which underscores the importance of due diligence in global supply chains.

Our clients are companies that prioritize sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR), staying at the forefront of supply chain sustainability. Scandic Sourcing remains committed to developing innovative concepts and systems that address both current and future sustainability requirements, helping businesses lead in this evolving landscape.
