Voluntary SME ESRS (VSME)

  • The voluntary VSME standard is a possibility for companies with up to 250 employees to provide basic sustainability data for their stakeholders. This is useful to satisfy larger customers that report according to CSRD and possibly banks that provide sustainable financing.
  • A VSME report, as it is voluntary has much less data than ESRS and there is more flexibility how to report.
  • Preparing a VSME report is a good possibility to start to collect sustainability data for the company and step by step refine strategy, policies and reporting points.
