Svero Lifting AB Publishes First CSRD Report and Wins Sustainability Award.
On the opening day of Elmia Subcontracting in Jönköping, Sweden, Scandic Sourcing proudly announced Svero Lifting AB as the recipient of its 2024 Sustainability Pioneer Award. This recognition honors companies that have made exceptional efforts to stay ahead in the evolving landscape of sustainability reporting and proactively meet market demands for transparent sustainability practices.
Svero Lifting AB, based in Jönköping, Sweden, specializes in producing lifting equipment for industries such as mining, energy, and automotive. The company has now published its first CSRD/ESRS Sustainability Report, showcasing its commitment to sustainability.
“We have spent the past seven years engaging and auditing our supply chain for sustainability issues, alongside implementing comprehensive circularity programs and we are very pleased to get this recognition,” stated Anders Hallåker, CEO and majority owner of Svero Lifting AB.
The report was prepared in line with the proposed VSME-ESRS standard (January 2024 edition). This simplified standard, developed by the EU, aims to reduce the reporting burden on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It is ideal for smaller companies that are not legally required to report but wish to communicate their sustainability practices and progress to customers and stakeholders.
Scandic Sourcing, with 15 years of experience driving improvements in global supply chains, assist clients with sustainability reporting in accordance with GRI and CSRD frameworks.
